Online poker platform GGPoker announced this week that Dan Bilzerian is the latest brand ambassador to join Team GGPoker. Considered the King of Instagram, Bilzerian is a recognizable poker player and a strong social media influencer. He has more than 32 million followers on Instagram and is sure to give GGPoker a little time in the spotlight. As a brand ambassador, Bilzerian will be representing the brand in online and live game play.

Teaming Up

GGPoker and Bilzerian teaming up comes at a time when poker is booming in the online sector. Players have really taken to online gaming as a form of entertainment, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to keep people socially distanced from others.

Bilzerian commented on the deal, stating that GGPoker is his best option to play poker during these crazy times. The brand caters to recreational players and Bilzerian sees them as the future of poker, not ‘math nerds’ as he said.

The poker pro says he has played at the $2 tables at GGPoker as well as at the higher limit, $200,000 tables and he will be working with the brand to make sure the cash games are better for the average player. GGPoker is happy to have Bilzerian on board. Fellow ambassador, Daniel Negreanu, commented that Dan joining the team is a big win and no one in poker has a bigger reach than he does.

Special Event

To celebrate Bilzerian joining GGPoker, the online poker platform will host a special birthday party for the poker pro. On December 7, players can take part in a special event as part of a 40^th birthday party for Bilzerian.

The $100,000 Birthday Freeroll is open to players who sign up at the site and use the bonus code BLITZ40. These new players must deposit $10 or more to gain access to this special event. The winner of the event will receive at least $10,000 for first place.

On top of the prize money, the winner will be able to take on Dan in a heads-up series. A $3,000 buy-in will be provided to help the winner take on the poker pro! A minimum of 50% of the field will win cash prizes for taking part and finishing well during the freeroll.
